LOVELAND, CO – Marcia Coulson, president of Eldon James Corporation and Fort Collins-based EJ BioMed, is a finalist for the 2009 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® award.
Now in its twenty-third year, the annual Ernst & Young award recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate extraordinary success in the areas of innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
Coulson is one of more than 50 entrepreneurs nominated for the award, and represents one of 21 finalists in the Rocky Mountain Region. Regional award winners are selected by an independent judging panel made up of business, academic and community leaders from the area. Winners will be revealed at a gala hosted by Ernst & Young at the Grand Hyatt in downtown Denver on June 18, 2009.
“This nomination reflects teamwork, and more than twenty years of employee dedication, innovation and commitment to quality at Eldon James,” said Coulson.
“It also speaks to Northern Colorado’s thriving and supportive entrepreneurial culture,” said Coulson. “Fort Collins and Loveland are great places to live and grow a business.”
Regional winners are considered for the national Entrepreneur Of The Year award, and national winners will be announced on November 14, 2009.
