R&R Home Grand Opening on December 8

A new, locally owned boutique makes Fort Collins a destination for fine furniture — November 17, 2009

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – R&R Home, a locally owned fine furniture and interior design boutique, will host the grand opening of its 632 Mason Street showroom on Tuesday, December 8, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Guests will be welcomed with refreshments and gifts throughout the day.

Located just south of Old Town along the Mason Street Corridor, R&R Home offers a variety of distinctive home furnishings. Hickory Chair, whose artisans have been designing custom pieces for nearly a century, represents the heart of the store’s collection, which extends from sofas, chairs, tables, and cabinets to beds, nightstands, and chests of drawers.

Owner Rod Clough, a Colorado native, established R&R Home to provide a convenient, comfortable, and informative setting for patrons of fine furniture to find custom-crafted pieces.

“A chair, a desk, a sofa, a table—these are intimate objects,” said Mr. Clough. “It’s here we sit and think, read and write, listen to stories and share meals. I’ve always felt that furnishings should enliven the joys of being home.”

Natalie Ruhl, an expert in traditional and contemporary furniture as well as interior design, serves as R&R Home’s manager and artistic director.

“The perfect furnishings bring a room into harmony, and I’m dedicated to helping each of our customers find the pieces that resonate with them,” said Ms. Ruhl.

Mr. Clough has long been committed to causes and non-profits in Colorado, and several walls of the R&R Home showroom will serve as a revolving gallery of the works of local artists.

R&R Home will be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. To learn more, please visit www.RandRHomeFurnishings.com or call (970) 484-2498.
