FORT COLLINS, COLORADO – After just opening its doors, SHE SHE Nail and Wax Lounge is already charming the socks off Fort Collins.
Centrally located at 2601 South Lemay Avenue in the Scotch Pines Village Shopping Center, SHE SHE is redefining the local spa scene by offering a full menu of affordable pampering services for men and women, including manicures, pedicures, waxing, massage and skin care. Hosting private parties is also a SHE SHE specialty, and the lounge has the reputation of “posh without the price.”
SHE SHE is an inviting, urban day retreat filled with smiles and laughter. Guests enjoy SHE SHE stress-relieving services – such as the Happy Hands ultra hydrating paraffin dip or the Frazzled Footsies pressure point massage – as they relax in comfy chairs, indulge in chocolate, trade gossip magazines and watch their favorite shows on an 8-foot jumbo screen. Waxing services such as the Teenie Weenie Bikini, and deep tissue massage therapy like the SHE SHE Stoner, are performed in one of four private rooms featuring flat-screen Television programming or soft background music.
“SHE SHE offers wonderful respite from my busy life,” said local businesswoman Dawn Duncan. “The staff is attentive and skilled and the environment is upbeat and fun; nothing beats watching Will & Grace while being treated to a fantastic pedicure! I love spending time at SHE SHE and have happily referred many friends and colleagues to the staff, knowing they will be taken care of 100 percent.”
Dedicated to making beauty and relaxation services enjoyable, clean and accessible to the masses, owner Susan Rowe opened SHE SHE with a firm conviction that everyone deserves a bit of polish and pampering in life. SHE SHE uses high-quality, name-brand polish and skincare products, yet clients can take home a favorite nail color or body scrub without fear of breaking the bank.
“Other day spas will get you relaxed, only to slap you with sticker shock on your way out the door,” said Rowe. “At SHE SHE we won’t price people out of the relaxation they deserve.”
And in this tough, slower economy, guests appreciate the opportunity to indulge in quality beauty services guilt-free because the pampering is affordable.
Susan Rowe got her start in the industry more than 10 years ago as a massage therapist, then secured her manicuring and aesthetics licenses to learn how to pamper people from head to toe. After experiencing the local nail and waxing scene, Susan was left feeling a bit calloused, chipped and a little grossed out. So she opened SHE SHE, where Susan and her dream team of top-notch professionals promote plucking, polishing and pampering excellence – having fun and making friends along the way.
“We’re not another wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am impersonal nail shop,” said Susan. “We listen, share stories and get to know our clients. We’re all like friends and family here.”
That family atmosphere extends to SHE SHE’s six trained technicians, a tight-knit group of ladies who find their own form of relaxation by participating on the SHE SHE bowling team, or by donating their services at local charity events.
And unlike those corner nail shops, SHE SHE prides itself on helping even the most diehard germaphobes relax. Every pedicure station is jet free, and all tubs and tools are sterilized after each use to take the icky-factor out of the equation.
“There’s something for everyone at SHE SHE,” said Rowe. “And we have a great time spoiling our clients silly.”
SHE SHE Nail and Wax Lounge redefines the total pamper experience. Open Saturday and Sunday 10 to 5, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10 to 6, and Wednesday 10 to 7, the lounge is closed Mondays to refill candy jars, straighten magazines, and respond to mountains of fan mail.
