Lisa Lyon
Ledger Legend
Lisa fell into marketing the way the best stories start, sideways. A marketing data analyst job opened up at her company, and it was love at first audit. The measurable results and customizable variables of direct mail and email marketing were deeply satisfying. Years of hustle — including late nights earning a business degree after putting her kids to bed — led Lisa to small agency work, where she managed everything from conference booths to brand overhauls to websites. Then one day, there was a pandemic. Hiring froze, and Lisa taught herself how to run the books. Plot twist: She liked bookkeeping better.
Specialty
Lisa joined the Toolbox A-Team as the smooth operator who makes sure the team gets paid and the business keeps businessing. Sorting every dollar into its proper P&L bucket scratches her data management itch, and after a decade of agency life, she knows how to solicit late payments with maximum charm and efficacy. When Lisa’s not wrangling numbers, you’ll find her kicking back with family and friends, planning her next adventure, and trying not to judge your potluck entrées too harshly. She is, after all, a retired BBQ champion with a first-place lobster mac & cheese recipe in her back pocket.
Passion Projects
Seeing and doing. Start to suggest a trip, and Lisa will have it planned with bags packed before you can finish the sentence. Her latest faves include canal boating in Scotland, hitting Red Dirt Americana music festivals, and giving her travel trailer and pontoon boat a workout across the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Her four kids, her husband (she really, really likes him, which is totally different than loving him), hamburgers, wine, travel, meeting new people, and her backyard.
Unkind people, arguing on social media, and rainy days when she wants to take the boat out.
