grant and
sponsor funding
Doing our part to close the clean energy gender gap meant building a brand and messaging to attract:
- Student and professional women interested in creating a more sustainable world through a clean energy career
- Industry experts ready to pay it forward as mentors
- Companies willing to spearhead and shepherd clean energy projects
- Corporate sponsors, foundations and other sources of funding

Outreach that’s not a stretch
She’s in Power audiences ranged from high school students to corporations. Hitting home across generations and types of organization required a multi-faceted approach with tailored messaging. We rolled up our sleeves and got to work: recruitment flyers with separate inserts for mentees and mentors, pitch decks and cases for support, in-depth web content, e-newsletters, social media graphics and best practices, and invitations to VIP events.
The proof is in the people
Every She’s in Power project had a measurable impact, whether reducing GHG emissions, maximizing energy efficiency or advancing climate-smart technology. Once the data was in the books, what was left? A woman with essential experience, ready to launch her clean energy career.
The stories of She’s in Power graduates were the most compelling proof points for recruitment and funding efforts. The program changed their professional lives, and now they’re out changing the world.

She's in Power was integrated into the larger STEMblazers initiative in 2024, creating a unified force — and invaluable resource — for girls and young women in STEM fields.
